THE COMIC MONSTER is pleased to announce a very special signing with some of the biggest and hottest names in comics! For a very limited time, you can send in your books for the following autographs:
James Tynion IV (creator of Something is Killing the Children and Department of Truth and writer of Batman): $30 per signature.
Werther Dell’Edera (artist on Something is Killing the Children): $25 per signature
Martin Simmonds (artist on Department of Truth): $25 per signature.
With the convention circuit on hold for the foreseeable future due to the global pandemic, obtaining signatures on your treasured collectibles in these challenging times can be difficult. We are here to make it a little easier for you.
CGC Grading fees and associated costs are as follows:
CGC Signature Series grading: $40 per book.
Return USA Shipping: $15 for the first slab and $4 each additional. Please inquire for international rates.
Using your own CGC account: $5 per book (our facilitation fee which will also cover the cost of getting the books to the signing itself).
The deadline for having submissions with us at our office is October 28, 2020. The signing will take place Mid-November, 2020.
Additionally, we are more than happy to generate a private paypal invoice for anyone who is more comfortable ordering in this fashion. Such an invoice will be unique to your personal order and designed to accept partial “pay as you go” payments all the way up to the deadline. For this option, we require a 20% non-refundable deposit to hold your order for you and there is a 5% convenience fee added to the invoice.
Although we highly recommend that you prep and window bag your own books, doing so is NOT required and we do not charge anything to prep books for you. Please understand that you will have NO control over signature placement unless your books are properly prepped and window bagged by you prior to sending them in to us.
We also do NOT charge anything to crack slabs so if you have books you’d like to have signed and they have already been graded by CGC, we are happy to remove them from the slab for you at no additional charge. We offer the same disclosure CGC does in its own published materials and that is that there is never a guarantee that you will receive the same grade once a book has been removed from an authorized CGC slab.
Please send all books to our office located at the following address:
